DIVE INTO OUR
COURSES

The program is divided into two parts.

  • Training: Consists of a theory in which the student will know the equipment using a theory to be held in the Bay Granate, then we go to begin our adventure. From the edge of the beach will instruction 3 very simple exercises with mask, regulator and swim to learn to breathe through the mouth, the first dive is done from the beach to a maximum depth of 7 meters.
  • A break, a refreshment like sandwich, juice, cookies.

Part Two: Diving from the boat to a maximum depth of 12 meters. It includes:

  • Complete equipment
  • Service Guide
  • Refreshment
  • Two dives
  • Underwater photos
  • Boat transportation to Tayrona Park

DIVING MINI COURSE

This program is designed for people who have never dove or certified and want to live this wonderful experience first.

FUN DIVE

This program is for people who already have their certificate with any association. Include two dives where the maximum depth depending on the level of your certification.

It Includes:

  • Complete equipment
  • Service Guide
  • Refreshment
  • Two dives
  • Photos and video underwater
  • Boat transportation to Tayrona Park
  • First the registration form must be filled.
  • We watch five videos before going overboard.

First day.
Two dives are performed in confined waters accompanied by essential exercises, these two dives are performed in similar waters to a pool. All courses of more than two days are entitled to stay in our hostel in Taganga.

Second day.
Two dives accompanied by exercises diving in open water 12 meters depth.

Third day.
Two dives are made at 18 meters accompanied by exercises. The diver must make a test to review regarding everything done to obtain certification

OPEN WATER

The course takes 3 days and has six dives

Open Water Advance

This course will increase confidence and build your scuba skills, consolidating what has been learned and developing new capabilities in just five dives.

  • Underwater navigation
  • Deep diving (typically anywhere 18-30 meters / 60-100 feet)
  • A sample three Adventure Dives of your choice

The specialties you can choose from are:

  • Night diving.
  • Deep diving.
  • Underwater photography.
  • Drift diving.
  • Buoyancy.
  • Multilevel diving.
  • Identification of marine species.
  • Underwater navigation.
  • Search and Recovery.

It includes :

  • Constant accompaniment of a qualified instructor.
  • Rent full diving equipment (cost included).
  • Teaching materials (books, videos …)
  • Personalized instruction.
  • Refreshments in our private cabin in Granate, in the Tayrona Park.
  • Accommodation at the Taganga hostel
  • Underwater photographs.
  • PADI international certification.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR and rescue breathing at non-professional level.
  • Using the AED (automated external defibrillator) (optional)
  • Prevention and treatment of shock.
  • Management spinal injuries.
  • Use of barriers to reduce the risk of disease transmission.
  • Considerations basic first aid and first aid kit

It also includes:

  • Accommodation at the Taganga hostel, study material, Support of an instructor and PADI EFR Certificate.

CPR and first aid

This course specializes in teaching techniques involved in adventure sports in which case any incident that could occur; and it makes for anyone, not just divers.

Rescue Diver

This is a challenging and rewarding course; all divers think at finished that is the best they have done.

  • Auto rescue.
  • Recognizing and managing stress in other divers.
  • Equipment and emergency management.
  • Rescue divers in panic.
  • Rescue divers unconscious.

It’s a great way to explore the underwater world when you’re not able to scuba dive or if scuba diving just isn’t your thing. The PADI Skin Diver course teaches you how to enjoy watching life below the surface and comfortably venture underwater for short visits, whether you dive in a local freshwater lake or the big blue ocean, at home or on holiday at a dive destination.

To enroll in a PADI Skin Diver course, you must be at least 8 years old. You need adequate swimming skills and comfort in the water. No prior experience is required.

What will you learn?

The PADI Skin Diver course teaches you about:

  • How to choose, adjust and use skin diving equipment.
  • Basic safety guidelines for being in and around the water.
  • Snorkeling and skin diving techniques including checking buoyancy, surface swimming, clearing water from your snorkel and performing effortless surface dives.
  • Going on an optional skin dive at a local dive site.

Skin Diver

Skin diving is snorkeling while making breath-hold dives to observe aquatic life, up close and personal.

Dive Master

Love scuba diving? Want to share it with others on a whole new level? Take the PADI Divemaster course and do what you love to do as a career.

Scuba divers look up to divemasters because they are leaders who mentor and motivate others. As a divemaster, you not only get to dive a lot, but also experience the joy of seeing others have as much fun diving as you do.

The PADI Divemaster course is your first level of professional training. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, you’ll fine-tune your dive skills, like perfecting the effortless hover, and refine your rescue skills so you anticipate and easily solve common problems. You’ll gain dive knowledge, management and supervision abilities so you become a role model to divers everywhere.

As a PADI Divemaster, you’ll lead others as you supervise scuba diving activities and assist with diver training. Whether you want to work at a faraway dive destination or close to home at a local dive shop, the adventure of a lifetime awaits you. PADI Divemasters are respected dive professionals who are aligned with the largest and most respected dive organization in the world – PADI.

PADI Rescue Divers who are at least 18 years old may enroll in the PADI Divemaster course. You also need to have:

  • Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months.
  • A medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months.
  • At least 40 logged dives to begin the course and 60 dives to earn certification.

Note that qualifying certifications from other diver training organization may apply – ask your PADI Instructor.

The PADI Divemaster course teaches you to be a leader and take charge of dive activities. Through knowledge development sessions, waterskills exercises and workshops, and hands-on practical assessment, you develop the skills to organize and direct a variety of scuba diving activities.
